Pool at Mandalay Bay
The best pool for families in Vegas is in my eyes Mandalay Bay because:
- They have sandy beaches that they can play in and build sand castles!
- They have a lazy river for floating fun and relaxation!
- They have a wave pool for anyone 48″ and above for excitement!
- They also rent out gazebos, cabanas, daybeds and lounge chairs!
Their hours of operation are:
Monday-Sunday: 9 am to 6 pm
If you go Monday through Thursday if you are not a Mandalay Bay guest you can buy passes!
Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay
Staying with the Mandalay Bay theme, the aquarium is a great family exhibit to check out!
There are over 2,000 animals, including sharks, giant rays, endangered green sea turtles, piranha and a Komodo dragon.
Open Monday through Sunday 10 am to 8 pm (last ticket sold at 7 pm)
Children 12 & under must be accompanied by a paid adult. Children 4 and under are free and do not require a ticket, however for safety may not ride the virtual reality experience.
Tournament of the Kings at Excaliber
Get ready for a good meal and tons of action packed excitement!!
With this show you get a full out meal with chicken, a baked potato, and corn on the cob, and then a dessert afterwards, all but alcoholic beverages are included with this cost of the show.
This show has it all! Comedy, Action, and great pyrotechnics and special effects too! The show is located in the bottom of the Excalibur in the arcade area, get there early because the line to get in is often long.
Vegas Indoor Skydiving
If your family is all action enthusiasts, this is your thing right here! Skydiving without the risk of actually jumping out of a plane! You must have someone 21+ to sign waiver for children. Also children must be at least 40 pounds. This would be an awesome way to get the feel for skydiving before doing it.
Bellagio Water Fountain Show
This tourist attraction is a staple of Las Vegas and is completely free, which makes it a great thing to check out for the whole family! The shows are synced to various music and the shows are quite amazing! This is best seen at night because or the lighting makes it just that much better!
- The Bellagio Fountain has set display times for weekdays and weekends. From Monday through Friday, guests can witness the beauty of the fountain every 30 minutes from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., and every 15 minutes from 7 p.m. to midnight. On weekends and holidays, the fountain goes off every 30 minutes from noon to 7 p.m., and every 15 minutes from 7:00 p.m. to midnight. The shows are subject to cancellations due to the weather.
Pinball Hall of Fame Museum
Bring the whole gang here for some nostalgic fun! This is 25,000 square feet of old pinball machines, most of which you can play. The machines range from 1950s up to 1990s. The older games are a quarter to play and the newer ones from the 90s are 50 cents, so fairly cheap entertainment!
