Factors when deciding where to stay in Vegas

There are so many factors when it comes to choosing the right place to stay in Las Vegas.  Some of the factors that I use to choose while visiting are:

  • Location on the strip (I personally like to be in the middle of the strip, but you have to think about where you want to go do things and choose a location central of the places that you would like to visit.
  • Preference of Casino:  Some people like the MGM Resorts, Some people like the Caesars Resorts, mainly if they are club members and want to get free stays and free play based on where they gamble.
  • Kid Friendly Location: Some families may want to stay at a more kid oriented location so that their kids don’t have to go far for activities and to keep them entertained.  Some people also want to be away from the hotels that have lots of children running around.  I will cover places for each type of traveler.
  • Entertainment: Lots of people are going to Las Vegas specifically for an event or show, you may consider staying at the resort closest to your event or show that you are going to see.
  •  Amenities: Many people that come to Vegas stay at a hotel with certain features like a certain pool, lazy river, or even certain restaurants, or places to shop.

#2. Bellagio

Luxury at it’s Finest!

The Bellagio is one of, if not the flagship hotels in Las Vegas.  If you want a luxury style room, 1st class service, and great amenities and attractions onsite!  I love their “Remodeled Rooms”, they are very modern, yet elegant.

Some things you make like about staying here are:

  •  Bellagio Fountain Show: Probably the most iconic attractions in Las Vegas, this show has spouting water fountains synced with music.  It’s a free show and it is great to watch.  I like it best at nighttime because its also lit up.  Generally during the day the show runs every 30 minutes and at night it runs every 15 minutes.
  • The Bellagio Conservatory: Another favorite thing that I love to see everytime I’m in Vegas is the Conseratory.  They have exquisite decorative assembly based on what season of the year it is, this is free to look at, and is definitely worth stopping at, they are always changing and some of the most creative designs that I have ever seen!
  • “O” by Cirque du Soleil: This is one the premier shows in Vegas and one of the longest running for good reason.  They have a mix of world class acrobats, synchronized swimmer, and swimmers that preform in and above the water.  It’s truly one of my favorite shows in Vegas.
  • Some of the greatest Dining in Vegas: Bellagio has world class dining options, so of my favorites are Prime Steakhouse, Picasso (a wonderful french cuisine restaurant), Yellow Tail (Japanese Dining Option), and my favorite is the Bellagio Buffet!
  • One of the biggest casinos if you are feeling lucky:  Bellagio is one of the biggest and best casinos with a huge variety of both slot games, table games, and a world class sports book (also you can make sports wagers via BETMGM app on smart devices)
  • Luxurious Amenities:  Bellagio offers probably some of the best and most exquisite sets of pools and courtyards in which you can reserve seats or cabanas, a world class spa and salon,  high class shopping from some of the top high end retailers in the world, great in room dining options, and also a world class fitness center.
