Looking For Fun Phoenix Tours?

Look no further we have you covered!  Here are some great ideas of touristy things that you can do to make the most of your trip!  Below I have compiled a few fun Phoenix tours that you could add to your itinerary for your next trip to Arizona.  The first set are primarily targeted for adults.  Then below I have a list of more family and/or kid oriented things to do.

  1. The first must do adventure consists of 3+ hours of riding a UTV Off Road with a guide and then shooting both a Glock and AK47 at a private range!  The AK is a lot of fun to shoot if you haven’t ever done so.
  2. Next up is a full day tour of driving down Route 66 and a stop at the Navajo Trading Post on the way to Page.  And then explore Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend with a Navajo Guide.  The thing I love about this excursion is that it’s a max of 13 people and you travel in a nice custom van equip with captains chairs.  Breakfast and Lunch are included.  The scenery and the views here make this tour well worth the cost!
  3. I really want to try the Half day Lower Salt River Rafting Tour!  I have never been river rafting, but it’s definitely on my bucket list!  This one is beginner friendly and safe for most age family members.  This is a very delightful adventure outdoors and you will enjoy the scenery of Sonoran Desert and all of the wildlife that comes with it!  You can book either early or midday departure for this one.  Only comes with bottled water and snacks, so you might schedule dinner afterwards.  I am sure you will work up a good appetite!
  4. Fourth but in no apparent order is the Small Group Tombstone & San Xavier Mission Day Trip from Phoenix.  This one is another small group tour, so max of 13 people and you tour in a comfy custom van!  This fulfills my childhood love for the Wild West!  On this all day trip from Phoenix to Tombstone, travel back to the days of the Wild West to ‘The Town Too Tough To Die,’ where you’ll visit the famous OK Corral and Big Nose Kate’s Saloon. Hear tales and legends of American outlaws in this legendary frontier outpost, where money, fame and lust were always at odds with the law. You’ll also visit San Xavier de Bac Mission while enjoying the drive back to Phoenix, for a full day of exploring two of Arizona’s most popular sights.
  5. Last, but surely not least is the Half Day Phoenix Brew Tour!  I personally have a passion for trying new beers!  I am from Seattle and we have some of the best breweries in the NW.  This one would be cool to see what they have outside the Pacific NW Breweries and how they fare.   The Tour is the perfect introduction to Phoenix’s impressive and world-renowned craft beverage scene. On this compact, three and a half hour adventure, you will go behind-the-scenes, drink with the locals, and taste a variety of up to 12 delicious beers at three of Phoenix’s best craft alcohol producers. All while enjoying a tasty snack to soak up all those delicious suds.

Adult Tours Near Phoenix

Next up are the kid friendly tours or they could be adults that want to bring out their inner child. There are endless other things that you can do with your family. These are just 3 that jumped out that I would like to go do myself!

  1. First is admission to LEGOLAND Discovery center.     When I was a kid I was obsessed with building things with LEGOS.  Today’s generation seems to keep the torch lit and has taken LEGOS to a whole other level.  This is a whole place mainly for kids ages 3-10 dedicated to lots of LEGO activities!  If your kids love LEGOS, take them here and the will love you forever!
  2. Second up is the Sea Life Aquarium Arizona.  I would even want to check this one out as an adult.  You can see more than 5,000 animals including sharks, rays, topical fish, and seahorses!  I love nature of all sorts and I am always down to check out a new aquarium.  There are also free scheduled talks about the exhibit for educational purposes.
  3. Next up keeping with the animal theme, is the Phoenix Zoo.  Breeze through entrance lines and save money with this prebooked admission ticket to the Phoenix Zoo. Meet some of the park’s roughly 3,000 resident animals—Bornean orangutans, Asian elephants, Sumatran tigers, Komodo dragons, and others—while learning about local and global conservation initiatives.  This would make a great full day activity for the whole family!
  4. Another activity that I love doing is hiking, this one is for any skill level!  Experience the remarkable ecosystem of our Sonoran Desert in the company of our expert guides. Tales of bizarre desert plants, extreme weather change will all be told as well as the opportunity to see the beautiful saguaro cactus up close and personal.  So not only do you get to see wonderful sites, you get to learn about the history too!
  5. If your more into a more thrill seeking activity, then the Centipede Tour is for you!  Spend a thrilling day aboard a Kawasaki Teryx UTV during an off-road tour in the Sonoran Desert. Ride on rugged and rocky trails in the scenic Bradshaw Mountains and cross the Aqua Fria River during the scenic journey. Your guide is knowledgeable about the region’s plant life, wildlife, and history, with plenty of stories to share.   This is a must do if you are visiting the Phoenix area, it’s loads of fun!
